We acknowledge that the art of the trailer is truly art with a purpose. Sometimes the art of the trailer is a terrific tease to an exceptional film and sometimes it’s just art, in and of itself. If it gets you excited, curious or interested and you buy a ticket, that would be where art blends into commerce. When the ticket you buy results in a less than satisfying time in your cinema, you can’t fault the editors and designers of the trailer. Moviedozer is indebted to the the folks at Apple Inc. who produce the Apple Quicktime Trailer pages. We’d also like to acknowledge IMPA.com and all of the movie studios for making their advertising readily available to the general public. And of course our thanks and appreciation to those who design the poster artwork that is such an enormous part of every movie’s marketing campaign and which adds so much to our own website.

From March of 2009, Knowing was a large scale sci-fi disappointment and one of Nicolas Cage’s most inept films over a career that’s had its share of uneven results.
